Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves handling materials, stocking shelves, and assisting with shipping and receiving processes. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Manage inventory using a warehouse management system to track stock levels.
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation.
Perform picking and packing of orders accurately for dispatch.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring items are handled safely.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety.
Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is required, with a strong understanding of materials handling.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for operating equipment effectively.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in stocking and order fulfilment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
