Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-time Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop barista skills while working flexible hours that fit around your schedule. A strong focus on food safety and cleanliness is essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
Ensure all drinks are made to the highest quality standards and presented attractively
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and customer area in accordance with food safety regulations
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Provide friendly, attentive service to all customers, addressing any special requests or dietary needs
Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as pastry or snack assembly when required

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service.
Knowledge of food safety standards is preferred
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
