Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as General Builders / Extra Hands. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, providing essential support to skilled tradespeople, and contributing to the successful completion of building tasks. The position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain practical experience in the construction industry and develop a broad skill set across multiple trades.

Duties

Assisting with carpentry, roofing, and masonry tasks as directed by supervisors
Handling hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Assisting with fabrication work and material handling
Preparing work areas, including cleaning and organising tools and materials
Supporting painting and finishing tasks where required
Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
Performing general labouring duties such as lifting, moving materials, and site clearance

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour over extended periods
