Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our professional team. This role involves providing exceptional administrative support, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various office software.

Responsibilities

Greeting visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answering and directing phone calls accurately
Managing appointment scheduling and calendar organisation
Handling incoming correspondence via email, mail, and phone
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and legal software
Maintaining organised records and filing systems
Assisting with administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and organising documents
Supporting team members with various clerical duties as required

Qualifications

Previous legal office experience or reception experience is preferred
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence to learn other software
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent typing accuracy for messages
Good communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Organised with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm but we will consider a job-share

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
