Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional grooming services and creating a welcoming environment for clients. This role offers the opportunity to utilise your expertise in hair styling and barbering techniques while providing outstanding customer service. The successful applicant will be confident in communicating effectively with diverse clients and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Duties

Providing a range of barbering services including haircuts and beard trims tailored to client preferences
Consulting with clients to understand their desired style and offering professional advice on suitable looks
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations
Ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sterilised and maintained
Building rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and foster a positive salon atmosphere
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow
Staying updated with current trends in hair styling and barbering techniques to deliver modern, fashionable results

Experience

Proven experience as a Barber, demonstrating proficiency in various haircutting and grooming techniques
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide tailored advice
Knowledge of hair styling products, tools, and safety procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Previous experience working with diverse clientele is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm for continuous learning is valued
