Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team here at The Bentley Medic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive technology and a keen eye for detail.

The position involves working in a dynamic environment where quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are paramount.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
Diagnose faults using specialised tools and equipment
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs
Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper functioning
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including heavy lifting procedures when handling vehicle components
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (Ideally Volkswagen/Audi Group) repair role
Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle makes and models (Mostly German)
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, including moving vehicle parts or equipment
Experience with diagnostic equipment (ODIS/ELSA/ETKA) is desirable but not essential
A recognised qualification in automotive technology or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills within a professional setting. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
