Job Summary
The Head Server plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This position requires a strong background in hospitality and restaurant operations, ensuring that all service standards are met and exceeded. The Head Server will lead the serving team, manage guest interactions, and oversee the dining area to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the serving staff to ensure efficient service.
Supervise while Manager not in work
Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service.
Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required.
Manage table settings and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
Train new staff on service protocols, menu knowledge, and best practices in guest services.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
Previous restaurant experience is essential, particularly in a supervisory role.
Proficient in serving techniques and knowledgeable about food safety regulations.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tips effectively.
Experience in kitchen operations or culinary arts is advantageous.
Exceptional time management abilities to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly rapport with guests. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a genuine desire to create memorable dining experiences for every guest.
