Location: Daresbury (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Operations Coordinator to join our growing team.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business, coordinating internal processes, and ensuring that our teams and clients receive a seamless experience. You’ll also take ownership of ISO compliance activities, working closely with our COO to maintain certification and ensure best practice across the business.
This is a hybrid role, based at our Daresbury office, combining in-person collaboration with the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily business operations across multiple departments, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
Manage scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-ups for internal and external stakeholders.
Support the implementation and adoption of Valuechain’s digital platforms across the business and client projects.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support project delivery and performance tracking.
Ensure all ISO compliance documentation is maintained and updated regularly.
Work closely with the COO to schedule and coordinate internal audits, ensuring full compliance with relevant ISO standards and supporting external audits where required.
Assist with supplier and customer communications, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
Support finance and administrative processes, including purchase orders, invoicing, proposals, contracts, and marketing documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows, contributing to operational eJiciency.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in operations, compliance, or business administration roles.
Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar) is highly desirable.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or supply chain platforms is an advantage.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
