Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team. We are a small independent business & pride ourselves on fresh food cooked with quality ingredients. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking quality dishes, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your talents in a fast-paced, energetic environment where teamwork is essential.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
Assist in the development of new menu items, ensuring they meet the restaurant’s standards for taste and presentation.
Oversee food preparation stations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of ingredients.
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols diligently to uphold health regulations and prevent contamination.
Monitor portion control and minimize waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.

Requirements

Knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards.
Kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated skills in food presentation and attention to detail.
Ability to follow recipes accurately
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Prior serving experience is a plus, as it enhances understanding of guest expectations and service flow.

Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour
