Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and work in a dynamic setting, perfect for individuals passionate about the food and beverage industry. All positions are paid, including internships, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and team members.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers, maintaining high standards of hospitality
Take orders and provide recommendations on beverages and menu items
Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Maintain knowledge of food safety standards and adhere to health regulations
Assist in setting up and clearing tables as necessary
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety regulations and serving procedures is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with guests effectively
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
