Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

Stoke-on-Trent | Full-Time

The Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:

Create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people
Promote confidence, independence and positive relationships
Support young people to participate in decisions about their care and future
Lead shifts and support colleagues to maintain high standards of care
Complete accurate recordings, reports and care documentation
Build positive relationships with families, social workers and other professionals
Support young people through important life transitions
Act as a positive role model and mentor for both young people and staff
Contribute to a culture focused on achieving the very best outcomes for children

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience working within Residential Children's Care
Previous Senior Residential Support Worker experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Resilience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for supporting young people
Ability to work flexibly across a 7-day rota

Desirable:

Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
Experience leading shifts and supporting staff teams

Pay & Hours

£13.96 - £14.21 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
Fixed sleep-in payment for overnight duties
Full-time contract based on approximately 40 hours per week
