Assistant Administrator (Child Trust Fund / Financial Services)

Join our Member Services Team!

At Sheffield Mutual, we’re proud of the personal service we provide to our members. We’re looking for a Child Trust Fund Administrator to join our friendly Member Services Team, helping us support our Child Trust Fund account holders and their families.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that works together to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards. Full training will be provided, giving you the knowledge and confidence to succeed in the role.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support the day-to-day administration of our Child Trust Fund accounts, helping ensure records are maintained accurately and members receive timely and professional service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Processing and updating account information.
Scanning and filing documents.
Responding to enquiries by email, telephone and letter.
Maintaining accurate records and databases.
Preparing and issuing member communications.
Supporting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Assisting colleagues with wider administrative tasks when required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

Has good attention to detail and takes pride in producing accurate work.
Is organised and able to manage routine tasks effectively.
Has good written and verbal communication skills.
Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
Enjoys working as part of a team.
Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous administrative experience is helpful but not essential.

Package and Benefits :

Salary banding £20,000-£23,200 per annum based on National Living Wage
Performance-based annual discretionary bonus upto £1500 FTE
Annual training bonus award of £500
Discretionary Christmas bonus
Supportive and inclusive work environment, every member of our team is valued and a key part of our success
Full time hours are 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with an hour for lunch
This role is predominantly on site in our office , however we are currently trialling hybrid arrangements and aim to offer this following successful probation periods.
Death in service benefit
22 days plus all statutory bank holidays. Increasing to 27 days following 2 years’ service.
Additional discretionary 3 days holiday for Christmas closure
