Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our vibrant dessert shop team in various roles, including Kitchen Staff and Team Members. This is a full-time/ part time position offering an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on delivering exceptional sweet treats and customer service. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and a friendly demeanour to contribute to our welcoming atmosphere. All roles are paid positions, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Duties

Prepare a variety of desserts and sweet treats following established recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety regulations
Serve customers efficiently at the counter, providing friendly and professional service
Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer relationships
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and serving areas throughout shifts
Manage stock levels, restocking ingredients and supplies as needed
Support the management team with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Contribute to creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits from customers

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or within a restaurant/Takeaway environment is essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is advantageous
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients effectively
Experience in kitchen operations or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
A friendly attitude with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends if required; punctuality is essential
