Full job description

Overview:

PCL Direct Group Ltd are an award winning supplier of photocopier consumables, renowned for our exceptional customer service, quality products, and long-standing relationships with customers.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Sales & Accounts Administrator to join our small friendly team. This initially would be a part-time role covering 22.5hrs per week across 3 days (8am - 4pm); however, there is a possibility that the position could develop into a full-time role. As such, flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business needs are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process sales orders, liaising with key departments to check stock availability and ensuring customers are informed of their order progress.
Support the Accounts department processing invoices and payments using Sage 50 Accounts, reports and filing.
Confidently handle incoming telephone calls and emails, resolving customer enquiries and issues efficiently and professionally.
Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.
Prepare and update sales and financial reports as required.
Assist with marketing campaigns by contacting customers regarding current promotions, special offers, and new product launches.
Undertake additional administrative / ad-hoc tasks when required.

Candidate Requirements:

Customer Service / Sales Administration / Bookkeeping experience.
Experience using Sage 50 Accounts preferable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Excellent attention to detail.
A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
Flexibility for cover and an understanding that the role may progress to full-time.
