Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Floor Staff to join our team immediately. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the hospitality and food service industry. The position involves providing exceptional service to customers in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of the venue. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All roles are paid, including internships, and are suitable for those seeking immediate employment.

Duties

Greeting and serving customers in a courteous and professional manner
Taking orders accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
Ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times
Serving food and beverages to guests promptly and with attention to detail
Clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
Assisting with setting up and organising the dining space before service
Managing multiple tables effectively while prioritising customer needs
Handling cash transactions accurately and providing correct change
Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling payments and calculating bills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic setting
Good communication skills to interact confidently with customers and colleagues
Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands within the venue
