Job Overview

We are looking for a professional, organised, and reliable Manager's Assistant / Office Administrator to join our growing team. This is a varied role that requires someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and provide excellent administrative support to the management team.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new systems and processes. This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the management team.
Manage filing systems and maintain accurate company records.
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative documentation.
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including organising financial records.
Maintain spreadsheets and company databases using Microsoft Excel.
Operate office equipment, including printers, scanners, photocopiers, and telephone systems.
Answer telephone calls professionally and deal with customer and supplier enquiries.
Organise paperwork and ensure the office remains clean, tidy, and well organised.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and staff diaries.
Support stock control, ordering office supplies, and general office administration.
Use company software systems confidently and be willing to learn new software as required.
Work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Support managers with additional duties as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous office administration or management support experience.
Excellent Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills.
Experience with invoicing and general office administration.
Basic bookkeeping knowledge is essential.
Good understanding of office software and computer systems.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable, punctual, and able to travel to work consistently and on time.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new software, systems, and procedures.
