Sales Administrator

Location: Office-based
Department: Trade
Reports to: Sales Director

Join Our Team

We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our Trade team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing outstanding customer service and supporting a busy sales function.

As the first point of contact for many of our trade customers, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience. Working closely with our external Trade Account Managers and internal teams, you'll ensure orders are processed efficiently, customer enquiries are resolved promptly and our customers receive the high level of service they expect.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing exceptional customer service to trade customers by telephone and email.
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Supporting the external Trade Sales team with order management and administration.
Managing customer enquiries relating to orders, deliveries, stock availability and product information.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with our trade customers.
Resolving customer queries quickly, escalating where necessary.
Maintaining accurate customer records and account information.
Working closely with our Warehouse and other internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Identifying opportunities to maximise sales through product recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
Preparing customer quotations and following up on enquiries.
Supporting trade promotions and marketing campaigns.
Developing knowledge of our products and the wider industry.
Helping the team achieve sales and customer service objectives.
Completing all administrative tasks accurately and within agreed timescales.

What We're Looking ForEssential

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Strong customer service experience.
Good administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
The ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage multiple tasks.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
A collaborative team player who works well with others.
A calm, professional approach under pressure.
Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

Previous experience in a Sales Administrator role.
Experience working within a trade sales environment.
Knowledge of stock control and order processing.
An interest in or knowledge of the darts industry.

You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You'll be proactive, organised and able to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You're a positive team player who communicates well with colleagues and customers alike and is always willing to support the wider team.
