About The Role

Service Technician/ PDI Technician

Marshall Honda York
£29,518 - £36,182 basic salary depending on qualification | Plus OTE bonus based on time saved and team profit; 25 days’ annual leave + bank holidays (increases with service); Life assurance & pension scheme; Discounts on car servicing, purchase & more; Access to exclusive shopping and lifestyle perks.
Full-time | 45 hours per week, including weekends on a rota basis

At Marshall Honda York, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified PDI or Service Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. Whether you’re already an expert or developing your craft, we’ll support your growth with state-of-the-art facilities,you will be joining a service team with over 60+ years combined Honda experience as well as a team that consistently achieves a top 25 Honda dealer ranking based on customer satisfaction.

In this role:

You’ll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
You’ll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.
You’ll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for:

Someone with a recognised Level 2 or 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
If Level 2 qualified we can offer a fantastic opportunity to achieve your Level 3 qualification through our Level Up Programme where you can qualify within 14 weeks
Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.
Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus – full training can be provided if not yet qualified.
Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
