Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and enthusiastic Front Desk Administrator to join our team. As the first point of contact for members and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the gym.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming members and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Managing enquiries both face-to-face, over the phone, and via email.
Assisting with membership sign-ups, renewals, and account administration.
Handling bookings, appointments, and general reception duties.
Maintaining accurate records and updating computer systems.
Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as required.
Ensuring the reception area remains clean, organised, and welcoming.
Resolving customer queries efficiently and professionally.
Promoting gym services, classes, and membership packages where appropriate.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Excellent customer service skills.
Great communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
The ability to stay calm and professional in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Strong computer literacy and confidence using administrative systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with members.
Good time management skills and the ability to work independently using initiative.
A friendly, approachable, and positive attitude.
Trustworthiness and reliability.
A genuine eagerness to learn, develop, and progress.
Flexibility to support the needs of the business, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends, according to business needs.
Committed to supporting the team and ensuring excellent member service during all operating hours.
