Terre à Terre, one of the world's leading vegetarian and vegan restaurants, is recruiting for an experienced, knowledgeable and energetic restaurant manager to join our vibrant team. RESTAURANT MANAGER ROLE

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the seamless functioning of the front of house operation of the restaurant.
Overseeing restaurant set up and briefing the team.
Manage the floor team on shift to drive sales and develop our team’s knowledge and skill.
Ensure the high quality guest experience that our diners come back for again and again.
Keep staff updated on promotions and sales drives, promotions and incentives.
Be the point of contact for customer communications and dealing with them professionally and promptly.
A main focus of this role is also the presentation and cleanliness of the venue, making sure staff are completing set up and close down procedures properly.
Liaise with head chef before, during and after service, making sure that customer requests and all allergies and intolerances are managed.
Opening and closing the restaurant on your allocated shifts.
With the full support of the existing management team, you will train new staff and top up the knowledge of existing staff where and when required.
Have your own input and ideas listened to and implemented where appropriate.

Your Skills:

Hard worker with a passion for excellent customer service and a keen eye for detail.
Sales skills to sell our fabulous products to our guests and help our team to do the same.
Previous management experience in a high quality restaurant operation.
First class customer service skills and a personality which inspires others to greater things.
Enthusiasm for developing talent, both your own and those of the restaurant team.
Genuine love of fabulous food and drink and of course you will need to be naturally hospitable.
