About the Role

As a Commis Chef, you’ll play a leading role in the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes for our guests. You’ll ensure food is cooked to an excellent standard while maintaining food safety and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities

To prepare food to the highest standard for our guests
Maintain excellent food quality and consistency, following company service style and food delivery procedures.
To adhere to all food and hygiene safety requirements at all times.
Ensure food storage, preparation, and service meet temperature guidelines.
Ensure all checklists and food safety records are completed correctly and accurately.
Assist in keeping the Kitchen and all food handling areas clean as per the food safety handbook.

Education, Training, and Experience

Previous experience in a chef or kitchen role preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and stock handling procedures.
Minimum level 2 food hygiene (training can be provided).

Disposition and Requirements

Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of Work

30 hours per week, fixed term until 2 November 2026.

Hours will include evenings, weekends/school holidays and bank holidays.
