Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing a variety of beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, food safety, and creating a welcoming environment for all customers. This position is perfect for someone organised, efficient, and eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Previous barista experience required
Previous experience supervising/managing in a similar work environment, with the ability to be proactive, responsive and responsible
The ability to consistently prepare drinks including coffee, matcha and smoothies to a high-quality standard
The ability to create and present acai bowls with a high level of precision, care and speed
A moderate to good understanding of matcha
Strong attention to detail and consistency of product quality
Willingness to learn and ability to undertake roles in different areas of the business
Punctual, reliable, proactive and positive with a team first mindset
Confidence working in a fast paced environment and the ability to manage long queues and busy periods to keep service smooth and efficient
A warm, guest experience focused attitude
Must be able to work weekdays & weekends
Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene protocols at all times.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change.
Keep the workspace clean and organised, including cleaning equipment and surfaces regularly.
Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving or other duties as required.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
Experience in serving customers within a fast-paced environment.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Ability to prepare food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
