Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail to contribute to diverse projects within the construction and renovation sectors.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care
Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding equipment
Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards
Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver satisfactory results
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related trades
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites
Good command of English language for effective communication with clients and team members
Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret instructions accurately
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes
Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights
