Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Baristas / Retail Assistants to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a positive experience to customers, maintaining high standards of food safety, and working efficiently within a fast-paced setting. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided to ensure you excel in your role.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or other light food items in accordance with health and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly to uphold food safety standards.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Support team members during peak hours by assisting with additional tasks as required.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista needed if applying for barista role, for retail assistant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the role.
Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred to maintain hygiene standards effectively.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy is highly valued.
Good time management skills are necessary to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
