Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, professional and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our team at Dining Room, an award-winning fine dining South Asian restaurant, bar and lounge.

As a member of our front of house team, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest. From providing a warm welcome to delivering attentive table service, you will help maintain the high standards of hospitality that our guests have come to expect.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, and has a genuine passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
Seat guests and assist with reservations where required.
Take food and drink orders accurately, offering menu recommendations and answering guest enquiries.
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards.
Prepare and set tables before, during and after service.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of all front of house areas.
Handle guest requests and resolve any issues professionally and promptly.
Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, although full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and a genuine passion for customer service.
The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail.
A team player who is reliable, punctual and professional.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
