Children's Residential Support Worker

Capenhurst

£13.50 - £14.00 per hour + sleep-in payments + bonuses

Embrace Care is opening a brand-new therapeutic children's home in a beautiful farmhouse setting just outside Chester. Join the team from day one and help build a safe, nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive.

We provide therapeutic residential care for children with emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. We're looking for compassionate, resilient people who want to make a positive impact and support young people to achieve their potential.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping children feel safe, supported and valued every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating a warm, stable and nurturing home environment
Supporting children with daily routines, education and life skills
Building positive and trusting relationships
Managing challenging behaviours using therapeutic approaches
Encouraging independence, confidence and personal development
Working closely with colleagues, families and external professionals
Completing accurate records and reports
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at all times

About You

We're looking for individuals who are:

Patient, caring and consistent in their approach
Confident managing challenging behaviours safely
Professional, reliable and committed to safeguarding
Looking for a long-term career rather than simply a job
Essential Requirements
Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals
Full UK Driving Licence (held for at least 12 months)
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins
Commitment to completing relevant qualifications and training
