Full job description

The role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Assistant to join our busy sales team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the Sales Support Manager and Account Managers across a broad range of sales, administrative and customer-related activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage competing priorities and ready to jump straight in wherever support is needed to help drive sales and secure orders.

Key responsibilities

Support the Sales Support Manager and Account Managers with day-to-day sales and administrative activities.
Prepare accurate customer quotations and supporting sales documentation.
Complete customer new-line forms, product setup information and other customer-specific documentation.
Maintain organised and up-to-date product image and video libraries.
Create and update customer presentations using PowerPoint and Canva.
Support stock planning and monitor product availability.
Oversee internal systems to ensure product, pricing and stock information is accurate and up to date.
Liaise with internal departments to help progress customer orders and resolve queries.
Respond promptly to requests from the sales team and customers.
Help ensure sales opportunities, quotations and orders are followed through efficiently.
Provide flexible support across the department wherever required to help drive sales and deliver excellent customer service.

Skills and experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Strong PowerPoint and Canva skills.
Excellent administrative and organisational abilities.
Confident working with data, internal systems and detailed documentation.
Ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proactive, adaptable and willing to take ownership of tasks.
A collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
Previous experience in a sales support, customer service or commercial administration role would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate

You will be someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy commercial team. You will be highly organised, comfortable managing several tasks at once and confident working with customers and colleagues across the business.

Most importantly, you will bring energy, initiative and a willingness to get involved, providing practical support wherever it is needed to help the team drive sales, secure orders and deliver for our customers.

Working hours are:

Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 (1 hours lunch)

Friday 08:30 to 13.30pm (no afternoon shift!)

Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
