Back of House Kitchen Team Member – Smoke & Pepper Rotherham (NEW STORE OPENING)
Location: Smoke & Pepper Rotherham (Forge Island)
Hours: This role is a full time position only
Pay: £10.85–£12.71 per hour

We’re excited to be opening a brand-new site in Rotherham and are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable Back of House Kitchen Team Members to join our growing team.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, social casual dining environment, enjoy working as part of a supportive team, and take pride in consistently delivering great food, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Back of House Team Member, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards, and helping us deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and day-to-day kitchen operations
Maintain excellent cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
Ensure all food safety and health & safety regulations are strictly followed
Receive, store, and rotate stock correctly and efficiently
Wash, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
Carry out opening and closing kitchen procedures
Work collaboratively to deliver consistent, high-quality food service

What We’re Looking For

A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality-based role
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
A genuine passion for food and hospitality

Non-Negotiable

You must be available for in-store training prior to launch/trading
