Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise within a vibrant hospitality environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee food presentation, ensuring it meets quality and aesthetic expectations.
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste.
Train new team members in food preparation, safety procedures, and customer service standards.

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing kitchen teams.
Extensive knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience in food preparation across diverse cuisines is advantageous.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service standards.
Previous experience in hospitality roles that emphasise teamwork and high-quality service delivery is preferred. This position offers an engaging environment for passionate culinary professionals eager to develop their skills further while delivering outstanding dining experiences.
