Part-Time Bookkeeper & Office Administrator

Cowling, North Yorkshire

R Preston Garden Design is an established and highly respected landscaping and garden design company delivering premium large-scale projects throughout the UK, with a particular focus on high-end projects in the Scottish Highlands.

We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper and Office Administrator to join our small, friendly team based at our rural office in Cowling, North Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking for a flexible role within a growing business, working alongside and supported by our Office Manager.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business, helping ensure the smooth running of our office and project administration.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero

· Processing invoices, supplier payments and purchase orders

· Bank reconciliations and general financial record management

· Supporting payroll preparation and financial reporting processes

· Liaising with our external accountants (full support available)

· Managing office administration and maintaining organised records

· Supporting project administration where required

· General administrative support to the wider business team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

· Experienced in bookkeeping and financial administration

· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

· Comfortable working independently and managing their own workload

· Friendly, reliable and adaptable within a small team environment

· Experienced in office administration or similar business support roles
