Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Operations to support and oversee the delivery of operational services within a fast-paced, nationwide facilities services company. This is a senior leadership role requiring a strong operational background, proven training capability, and full responsibility for health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day management and strategic oversight of nationwide operations
Ensure efficient service delivery across all contracts, maintaining high standards and client satisfaction
Lead, develop, and support operational teams to achieve performance targets
Deliver training courses to both internal staff and external clients in line with BESA TR-19 standards
Design and implement training programmes to enhance workforce capability and compliance
Maintain full responsibility for health and safety, ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and best practices
Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks across operational sites
Support business growth through operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Requirements

Extensive experience within the facilities services sector, ideally in a senior operational role
Proven track record in delivering training and developing staff
Demonstrable leadership and team management experience
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
