About Us

We are a fast-growing, dynamic Dog & Puppy Training School based in Exeter. We are professional, agile, and dedicated to delivering the highest quality care, training, and behaviour modification for our clients and their dogs.

Our Work Environment:

Supportive & Friendly Team: Collaborative atmosphere with experienced trainers.

Casual Work Attire: Practical, comfortable gear suited for outdoor and active work.

Key Responsibilities

Transport: Safely pick up and drop off client dogs. Must be a confident driver and happy to drive a van.

Field & Pack Care: Walk and manage dogs on a regular schedule, regardless of weather conditions.

Training Support: Implement skill-building exercises with dogs during their time at the school.

Assist Lead Professionals: Work alongside our Dog Trainers and Behaviourist during 1-to-1 sessions and Reactivity Boot Camps, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

Safety & Welfare: Closely monitor dog behaviour, health, and pack dynamics; maintain strict safety standards and report any concerns promptly.

Customer Service: Deliver clear, friendly, and professional updates to dog owners.

Facility Maintenance: Assist with essential upkeep, including cleaning, field maintenance, and equipment care.

Hours: Monday - Thursdays starting days, expected hours 9am-3pm or 11am-5pm - must be flexible with earlier start times through summer months

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience working with dogs or a relevant qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ in Animal Care, or equivalent) is preferred. A full UK driving licence is a must.

Handling Ability: Confidence and competence handling dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and sizes.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with pet owners and team members.

Reliability: Highly punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently as well as follow explicit instruction.

Physical Fitness: Capable of handling active dogs, outdoor field conditions, and light lifting/maintenance tasks.

All-Weather Resilience: Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions—rain or shine!
