Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills whilst working closely with children to support their individual needs. The Nursery Practitioner Level 3 will play a vital role in creating a positive learning atmosphere and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental stages of children.
Foster a warm, welcoming environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Supervise and support junior staff and trainees, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high standards of childcare.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavioural observations in accordance with statutory requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times by adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
Organise daily routines including meal times, play activities, rest periods, and outdoor play sessions.
Contribute to the organisation of nursery events and activities that enhance children's learning experiences.
Support the implementation of early childhood education frameworks whilst maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare).
Proven experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages and backgrounds.
Knowledge of current early childhood education practices and regulations.
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external training sessions. This role is ideal for passionate childcare professionals committed to making a positive impact on young children's lives while developing their own career within early years education.
