Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation within a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and professional service.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment and sanitising surfaces regularly.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Follow food safety guidelines at all times to ensure hygiene standards are met.
Assist in food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred.
Experience in serving customers and handling cash transactions is advantageous.
Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
