Assistant Service Manager

Location: South Lanarkshire
Salary: £29,725.80

Invercare is a young and ambitious organisation who provides Home Care and Care at Home services within a number or regions in the West of Scotland. Our aim and mission is to promote excellence in the delivery of Social Care and to do that we need the best people to work with us.

Invercare is a home care company providing care in the community. We are currently recruiting an Assistant Service Manager to support our branch with the day-to-day operations of the care at home and housing support service.

What you’ll do

Lead, inspire, and support a team of coordinators, senior support staff, and admin colleagues.
Work closely with the Service Manager to keep operations running safely and effectively.
Champion quality care by ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate and local authority standards.
Recruit, train, and mentor staff to help them reach their potential.
Handle budgeting, invoicing, and payroll alongside service delivery.
Be a point of support for staff and families — including on-call cover at weekends.
Drive continuous improvement to make our service the best it can be.

What you’ll bring

Supervisory or management experience in the care sector.
SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare (or working towards).
Leadership and Management Award (or working towards).
A full driving licence & PVG membership.
Great communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
