Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Roof and Cladding Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will ensure the integrity, safety, and longevity of commercial roofing and cladding systems. In this energetic role, you will perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance on roofing structures and cladding materials, contributing to the durability and performance of large-scale commercial buildings. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help prevent issues before they arise, keeping projects on track and clients satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a skilled team dedicated to excellence in building maintenance.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of roofing systems and cladding to identify signs of wear, damage, or potential failure
Perform repairs using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to restore or enhance roofing and cladding components
Utilize schematics and technical drawings to guide installation, repair, or modification tasks accurately
Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while handling materials such as metal panels, insulation, or structural components
Apply carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other construction skills as needed for comprehensive maintenance solutions
Operate construction machinery and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to plan maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements

Proven experience in construction, roofing, or building maintenance roles with a focus on commercial structures
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings for installation or repair procedures
Skilled in welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and the use of hand tools and power tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in various weather conditions
Knowledge of roofing materials, cladding systems, and related construction practices
Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure high-quality work
Valid experience with safety standards related to construction sites and roofing environments
