Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a talented and passionate chef to join our vibrant, relaxed, proffesiona team. . This pivotal role involves leading food preparation, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food production
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health regulations
Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency
Train and mentor team members in food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality standards
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of dishes and excellent customer service
Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement
Enjoy working alone as well as part of the team

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a busy restaurant setting
Comfortable pricing menus and changing menus regularly
Experience of cooking from scratch
Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation protocols
Demonstrated skills in culinary arts, including food preparation, plating, and presentation
Effective team management abilities with leadership qualities that inspire confidence
Solid understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence
Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail in serving quality dishes

Pay: £32,500.00-£38,000.00 per year
