Full job description

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and reliable Drainage Admin Assistant to support the smooth day to day running of our drainage operations. You'll work closely with the drainage sales and operations teams to coordinate schedules, resources, and administrative tasks, helping to keep jobs, engineers, and site works running on time. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys being at the heart of a busy operation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day to day administrative support to the sales and operations team
Schedule and coordinate engineers, vehicles, and equipment across jobs and sites
Liaise with engineers, subcontractors and customers
Maintain accurate records, including job sheets, timesheets, and compliance documentation
Update and manage internal systems
Assist with booking site visits
Handle incoming calls and emails from customers, responding to queries or escalating where necessary
Support with health & safety documentation and compliance checks
Help prepare job reports, invoices, and completion reports
Raise and process invoices, ensuring accuracy against job sheets and agreed pricing
Raise purchase orders for materials and subcontractors, liaising with suppliers as needed
Assist with general office duties, ordering materials and other ad-hoc administrative tasks

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or office support role
Experience within the drainage, construction, or building products industry is highly desirable but not essential
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy,
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience using a CRM or order processing system
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
A friendly, professional, and proactive approach to customer service

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
