Job Vacancy: Accounts Assistant – Care Accounts Department (Full-Time, 40 Hours)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Care Accounts Department. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to grow their career in finance within the healthcare or care sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely recording of transactions.
Support in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve account discrepancies.
Assist with payroll, billing, and care funding-related accounts processing.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
Provide support to the senior finance team and participate in audits as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar accounts or finance role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Experience using accounting software, preferably Xero andother similar admin management software.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

A recognized accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA (part-qualified), or CA.
Experience in a similar role
