Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Hair Salon Receptionist to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, managing appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of the salon. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient with office software, and have a welcoming demeanour that reflects our commitment to client satisfaction. Duties

Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage appointment bookings via phone, email, and online scheduling systems
Answer incoming calls with courteous phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Maintain an organised reception area and ensure all client records are up-to-date
Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Treatwell booking system
Process payments and issue receipts efficiently
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, inventory management, and correspondence
Support the team with general clerical duties to ensure the salon runs smoothly
Coordinate with stylists and staff to optimise appointment schedules and client flow

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Treatwell or similar
Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Previous administrative or clerical experience preferred
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good typing speed for quick data entry tasks
Knowledge of appointment scheduling software is advantageous
Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
