Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £31,932
Contract: Full-time, permanent (Shifts between 6am-7pm Monday- Friday)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join the senior kitchen team at a high-volume, multi‑outlet corporate venue. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Sous Chef who thrives in structured environments, values consistency, and standards, and enjoys developing teams across multiple food concepts.

The Role

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of several catering outlets, ensuring excellent food quality, consistency, and service delivery across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations across multiple outlets.
Maintain consistently high food standards, presentation, and portion control.
Lead, motivate, and develop junior chefs and kitchen teams.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergen management, and H\&S standards.
Assist with menu development and GP control.
Manage stock, ordering, and waste reduction effectively.
Step up to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

About You

Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume or multi‑outlet environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Exceptional knowledge of food safety, compliance, and best practice
Organised, calm under pressure, and highly detail‑oriented.
Confident working to corporate standards and brand guidelines
Enthusiastic about food quality, consistency, and team development
