Chef / Kitchen All-Rounder – Forest Gate Papi’s Munchies @ Pretty Decent Beer Co

We’re a fast-growing, award-winning pizza business (Top 50 Pizzerias in Europe, two years running) looking for a passionate and versatile Pizza Chef / Kitchen All-Rounder to join our team. This is a hybrid, multitasking role — alongside cooking, you’ll be taking counter orders and managing Deliveroo, so we need someone who thrives on variety and pace.

Duties

Prepare and cook authentic pizzas according to our recipes and quality standards
Assist with food prep for other menu items, ensuring consistency and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in line with health and safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety protocols at all times
Take counter orders and manage Deliveroo orders alongside kitchen service
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and utensils
Contribute to team efforts to uphold high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction

Skills

Previous pizza or kitchen experience essential
Fluent English is a must
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene best practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen setting
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Experience taking orders or serving customers is advantageous but not essential
A positive, hands-on attitude with a passion for quality food and great service

Pay Starting from £28,000 per year (£13.50/hour), plus tronc. Pay increases after successful completion of training and probation.
