Team Leader – Newcastle City Centre
Full-time, Permanent
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (On-site)

Are you ready to transition from a team-based role into a leadership position? We are looking for an ambitious, driven individual to join our Newcastle team as a Team Leader. This role is specifically designed for professionals in the early stages of their career who are looking to gain hands-on management experience within a fast-paced, modern environment.

Rather than requiring years of senior management experience, we are looking for someone with the right mindset: proactive, communicative, and ready to take ownership of team results. You will receive direct mentorship and a structured development plan to help you bridge the gap between being a top performer and a successful leader.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for the daily coordination of a small, energetic team. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of performance, fostering a collaborative culture, and ensuring that daily objectives are met. This is a highly visible role where your ability to motivate others will have a direct impact on the success of the department.

Core Responsibilities:

Team Support: Act as the first point of contact for your team, providing guidance and resolving daily operational challenges.
Performance Motivation: Monitor team progress against key targets and provide the encouragement needed to hit goals.
Training & Onboarding: Assist in the integration of new team members, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.
Effective Communication: Facilitate clear communication between team members and upper management.
Leading by Example: Maintain a high standard of personal performance to set the benchmark for the rest of the team.
