Job Summary
I am seeking a professional and personable individual to join my team as a self employed barber. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service within a dynamic environment, with a focus on hair styling and barbering services. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and be fluent in English, ensuring clear and friendly interactions with clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hairstyling and customer care to develop their skills in a supportive setting.

Must be trust worthy and have own/essentially clientele and willing to build with the business

Duties

Providing high-quality hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
Engaging with clients to understand their needs and offering professional advice
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the salon or barber shop environment
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times
Ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and well-maintained according to health standards
Building rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
Assisting with stock management, including ordering supplies when necessary
Upholding professional appearance and behaviour at all times
This role is on a rent a chair basis

Experience

Previous experience in customer service, hair styling and barbering is essential
Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients
Knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques is advantageous
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Organised, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent service at all times
Must be trained in cut throat shaves and beard shaping

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Self-employed

Pay: From £100.00 per day
