Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Moffet Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Class 2 Moffet forklift to handle, transport, and deliver goods efficiently across various sites. This role requires a professional approach to driving and logistics, ensuring safety and accuracy at all times. Experience in commercial driving and delivery operations is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of flatbed handling and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 Moffet forklift to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse or distribution centre
Conduct pre-operational checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition
Deliver goods to designated locations accurately and on time, adhering to delivery schedules
Ensure all cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and movements using company systems
Follow health and safety regulations at all times, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly
Collaborate with team members to optimise operational efficiency and workflow

Requirements

Valid Class 2 driving licence with relevant driving experience
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with Moffet vehicles
Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred
Demonstrable knowledge of safe forklift operation, specifically Moffet models
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in handling goods and documentation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical fitness to handle lifting and manoeuvring of goods as required
A responsible attitude towards safety protocols and traffic regulations
