Full job description

Business Development Manager – DishGoodbye

DishGoodbye is the UK's specialist Sky dish and satellite dish removal company, helping homeowners, landlords, estate agents and businesses remove unwanted satellite dishes safely and professionally.

We are looking for an ambitious, driven Business Development focused individual to help expand the DishGoodbye brand nationwide. This is not a desk-based sales role. We need someone who can identify opportunities, build long-term commercial relationships and secure recurring work from organisations across the UK.

You will play a key role in growing our national presence by developing partnerships, winning commercial contracts and increasing brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
Build strong relationships with estate agents, letting agents, housing associations, property management companies, developers and commercial property owners.
Contact businesses by telephone, email and face-to-face meetings to introduce DishGoodbye's services.
Arrange and attend appointments with prospective commercial clients.
Develop referral partnerships that generate ongoing work.
Follow up all enquiries and maintain regular contact with prospective customers.
Work closely with the marketing team to identify new growth opportunities.
Represent DishGoodbye professionally at networking events, exhibitions and industry events where appropriate.
Keep accurate records of all sales activity using our CRM system.
Research new markets and identify industries where satellite dish removal services can add value.
Help shape the long-term growth strategy as DishGoodbye expands nationally.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has proven experience in business development, field sales or account management.
Is confident approaching decision-makers and building long-term relationships.
Has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Is highly self-motivated and enjoys generating new business.
Can work independently with minimal supervision.
Has a full UK driving licence and is willing to travel when required.
Experience within the property, construction, housing or facilities management sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role is not measured by the number of emails sent. It is measured by long-term relationships and recurring business.

Examples include:

Securing partnerships with estate agency groups.
Winning contracts with letting agents.
Building relationships with housing associations.
Establishing referral agreements with roofing companies, render companies and other property service providers.
Increasing brand awareness throughout the UK.
Creating sustainable sources of recurring work for our national network.
