What you'll bring to the team

We’re hiring Admissions and Retail Assistants at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, where the wildlife is as curious as our guests!

You need to have flexible availability for work from a starting time of between 9am and 10am to a closing time of between 4pm and 8pm (no split shifts) 5 days a week including weekends and bank holidays.

As an Admissions and Retail Assistant, you’ll:

Be the first point of contact for guests, offering a warm welcome and providing information about their visit.
Assist with admissions, ensuring the correct ticket type is processed and maximizing visitor spends.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the admissions and retail areas.
Help stock retail displays and assist with sales, promoting SEA LIFE-related products.
Handle guest queries, ensuring all interactions are positive and professional.

These seasonal, part-time roles offer flexible hours, making them ideal for weekends, school holidays, or anyone looking for a fun and dynamic job in Cornwall.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with visitors of all ages.
Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and peak holiday periods.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to a fun, dynamic environment.
