Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Smart / Cosmetic Paint Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing on-site paint repair and cosmetic enhancement services directly at clients' locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle aesthetics, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work independently in various environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality repairs with flexibility and professional growth potential.

Responsibilities

Conduct mobile cosmetic paint repairs on vehicles at client locations, ensuring high standards of finish and durability.
Assess vehicle damage or imperfections and determine the most effective repair techniques.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking prior to painting or touch-up work.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to carry out repairs.
Apply paint, colour matching, and finishing techniques to restore vehicles’ appearance seamlessly.
Perform heavy lifting when handling equipment, parts, or vehicles as required.
Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair processes and completion times.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used for each job.

Qualifications

Proven experience in vehicle cosmetic repairs or related fields is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge combined with practical skills in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in various locations.
Valid driving licence is essential for travel between client sites.
Knowledge of colour matching techniques and automotive paint systems is advantageous.
A proactive attitude with good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Pay: £40,000.00 per year
