Full job description

We're looking for a Marketing Assistant, based at our headquarters at Baillieston, Glasgow.

About The Company:

Mealzo is one of UK's largest hospitality services provider.

We supply and maintain EPOS (electronic point of sale) till systems, digital order pads, self ordering kiosks and other related technologies to help our partners in the hospitality industry accurately manage their operations by using our state of art systems.

We also provide them with their very own branded website and mobile apps, alongside our popular food portal, for customers to use to place orders. With our 0% commission policy, our partners keep all their orders profit, while paying us for our services.

Our clients range from national franchises down to your local takeaway round the corner.

Due to our continued growth in the UK and now beyond, we require a marketing assistant to help us in day to day marketing tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to get started in the field of marketing, backed and mentored by an experienced well established marketing team.

Duties of a Marketing Assistant -

- Day to day social media work, from Instagram to Tik Tok

- Being aware of trends and post accordingly

- Post and work with social media/advertising, paid links and other

- Using social media platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook on a business level

- Working with influencers and figures

- Driving to client sites for marketing tasks

- Being approachable and work stalls and events throughout the year

Requirements:

Our perfect candidate would preferably have the following skills and abilities :

- Ability to work 37.5 Hours a week minimum

- A background in Marketing, Fashion, or any creative field.

- A marketing related degree from university or college (Desirable)

- Basic understanding of social media and wider digital world

- A desire to learn and expand their knowledge

- Team players but can self manage and plan alone when needed

- Hard workers, ability to stay overtime when tasks demand

- Keeping company assets in clean working order

- A clean driving license as you will be out visiting clients to create content
