Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin Assistant to join our team. The role of the Admin Assistant is to support the smooth running of day-to-day administrative operations within the business, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently while providing support to other departments. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their office career within a friendly and fast-paced environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Supporting day-to-day administrative tasks across the business
Processing orders and associated paperwork accurately
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails in a professional manner
Maintaining and updating records to ensure accuracy and organisation
Preparing documents, reports, and general correspondence
Assisting with the preparation of courier labels for UK and international shipments
Providing support to team members with their daily workload
Ensuring filing and record management is completed in a timely manner
Identifying areas for improvement and raising these with management
Following company processes and procedures at all times
Undertaking additional duties outside of core responsibilities when required

Person Specification

Qualifications

Good general standard of education (GCSE Maths and English or equivalent desirable)

Experience In / Knowledge Of

Experience in an administrative or office environment (desirable but not essential)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Skills In

Strong verbal and written communication
Good organisation and attention to detail
Ability to work accurately and efficiently

Motivation

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Attitude and Temperament

Positive, professional, and reliable approach to work
Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
